Soooo...how much can you bench?

I'm 58 & my bones creak a little bit too. On the plus side, I go to the gym twice a week and bench 150 Kilos 25 times per circuit and do two circuits. I don't do maximum lifts anymore, so I don't know.

My old bones are to bad to even try. But my 16 year old grandson can bench 310 pounds and squat 425 pounds he weighs 265 pounds. He will be a SR this year and a 2 year starter on Varsity but I think I can take him down on a good day. ;) On D he plays NG and on the OL plays Guard 25" Vertical. Plays hard and in most cases always play till the play is over. But like most players dose get beat once and a while. We hope he might get a ship have to see how his SR season goes. My friends y'all have a good week.

Before marriage and kids I worked out like a beast and could bench press 430...now not so much! Lol

Braden is a great prospect, last spring when UT went after him I was really hoping he would commit. For some reason he didn't show UT the love that they showed him though. He has a great future and is everything you could ask for in an O-lineman.

I haven't did a max bench since my mid 20's so I don't have a clue how much I could bench. I know that I can't come close to what he is doing. I have always been a gym-rat, spend a lot more time on cardio and usually do my lifting with small rest periods. On days that I do the flat bench which is usually every other chest workout, I try to get 4-5 reps of 365 on my last set.

Last time I maxed I did about 305.

That was 1988 I believe.
