This is my take on Mack's recruiting trip. I am sure many of us on this board at one time or another gave our employer two weeks notice before we left our jobs. During those two weeks, did we stop doing our jobs just because the end was near? I didn't, and I am sure many of you all did not either. So, unless, the guys Mack is recruiting are not the type of player Texas wants, then Mack should continue to do his job. Keep recruiting and if these kids are worthy of playing at Texas, then we need to continue to recruit them....my 2 cents.

We have been hearing that Mack wants to return, he is self centered, holding the program hostage etc etc.. So if he is be forced out and he knows this he cannot be happy right now but now everyone expects him to know that he is out and be a stand up guy now and continue to recruit for UT to the very end.. That just does not make sense to me. If he is all the things people have been saying and he is really pissed. I think he would say the hell with this I a going home to eat some of sally's cookies..

i hope you guys are right...but this does sort of worry me too. then again, if anything is still up in the air, i can see Mack doing this to keep things in play, not to mention, recruits might start confirming rumors.

Mack Farewell Tour.......telling the recruits goodbye and good luck and remind them that they committed to The University not to a coach. Mack is classy to the end, you have to at least give him that.

Not yet I don't. If he stubbornly fights this than he is an egotistical ass. If he understands its his time, then what we have heard about him is true, a genuinely good person. This decision will be the second thing he is remembered for.

Mack is gone, and has had the talk with P&P. he doesn't want to come back to austin right now, because the media is probably waiting for him at the airport, home and work, and they all want answers.

If things were all rosey, Mack would announce btw today and Thursday and Saban the following day.

No reason to wait till after Friday, that means this thing ain't happening, IMO.

Why are you so sensitive? Where did he say his last name was Brown or Patterson? People are allowed to disagree with you without having to be party to the actual conversation just as you disagree with them and are not party to it.
