I think the burning couch is goofy, but the kids love it.
Talked to Clint today.. he promised not to repeat the "Horns Down" like Geno did.

Things weren't looking so good for Holgorsen prior to the season starting but he appears to have straightened the ship. Interested in seeing how WVU finished the season. In your opinion Jerry, what is the expectation from the fanbase in Morgantown? If the 'Eers don't win another game is Dana keeping his job?

Some around here are silly.
There are some who wanted him fired after the TCU loss, which is just stupid. Before the season there was no way WVU was making a bowl game.. now if they don't win 9, its a failure. Those who understand things know that nobody saw a 6-3 at this point and no bowl game. Base was a 6-6.

We're seeing something similar in Texas I think. Somewhere between Week 1 and Week 2, this team was all of a sudden suppose to win 10 games.

I think you have nailed it. Holgy has a good season - Holgy is gone.
It's more likely that Holgy goes to Florida than Strong. In fact, it is more likely that Vince Lombardi is resurrected and goes to Florida than Strong.
I can't imagine who started such a ridiculous rumor.
