ESPN announced earlier today six Gators are transferring, including Freshman 6'5" Pro-Style QB Max Staver. Thoughts on going after this kid? I believe Bama was recruiting him last year.

The only way I see him coming is if he could play immediately, which I'm pretty sure he would have to sit out a year.

Muschamp is awful ? He hasn't been associated with a decent QB since '09 and still coached last years Florida squad to the brink of the title game , the guy lost a good portion of his defense to the pros and 9-10 starters this year to injuries ! Saban did nothing but rave about coach boom in press conference's leading up to the 09 mnc , I'm pretty sure he knows coaching talent when he see's it

He lost to a Georgia Southern team that had 46 scholarship athletes. Injuries are not an acceptable excuse.

6 he don't want, that's the way it's done in SEC. Needs to be the way Texas does it. Produce or leave.

Uh, no. That's no where near accurate.
Yes. It is. He was HC in waiting in 2010. Several people who would know (including Mack, iirc) have stated Mack was retired on the job in 10. The offense was what Muschump wanted. He was the lead evaluator of talent.

He was all but HC.

Yes and Saban lost to Louisiana Monroe while at 'Bama , your right injuries are not a acceptable excuse , however losing 9-10 starters and having poor QB play from what the pundits consider a young team isn't a fair judgement , especially what he did last year with a healthy veteran team ! I'm not saying he's the end all be all , but I certainly wouldn't call him awful

We'll just have to disagree then, as he's had a HUGE hand in two different teams going 5-7
