Honest question regarding Kyler Murray. I understand the hype behind Murray on the high school level, he's a damn good QB (maybe the best of all time in Texas High School Football). But why do people think his game is going to translate in college, specifically a passing oriented offense like A&M?
Murray is listed as 5'10 on 247 and that seems about right to me. Looking at the top 12 passing QBs in the past 4 years there hasn't been a single QB under 6 feet tall coming out of HS per 247. I get that Murray might be a great play maker with his feet, but the stats seem to indicate that to be an elite passing QB you have to have some height.

QBs that are 5'10 coming out of HS don't become elite passers at the next level. Hell I can't even find one.
