Well you have to play good teams in the NCAA tournament but man that's a rough draw. Even if Texas wins (which on paper, I think they should), the Longhorns play MICHIGAN. That's a tough team to beat.

Arizona State was 16-1 at home and 5-10 on road and neutral.

SMU didn't get screwed when you look at their SOS and Non-Conference RPI which was in the 300+ range.

SMU's resume was better then NCState IMO. They should have been chosen over NCState. SMU had some nice wins and some bad losses. NCState had some bad losses and really only one good win.

SMU had wins over rpi 20, 21, 21, 33 vs. 5 losses in the top 40.

NC State had 16, 39, 42, 54, 78, 96 vs. 8 losses in the top 40.
