As much as I hate to say it I think LSU will be playing in the BCS Championship game. They get past Oregon in game 1 and I think they are in.

I'm gonna have to disagree. I just don't think Jefferson will improve from last yeat to this year to get them over the hump. Even if he does, Miles still can't tell time and will cost them a game or two with poor coaching decisions.

I'll agree that Jefferson needs improvement but they have Florida, Auburn and Arkansas at home. A road game against Bama will be tough. The tigers have just as good a shot as any other SEC team. Once thing is almost a given - an SEC team will play for the national championship game...

LSU will be a contender this year. Whether it is for a national championship or an SEC championship I look for them to be in the mix. Jordan Jefferson has looked downright awful at times, then he will heave a 50 yard pass to a wideout who is being smothered by two defenders. Inconsistence is the best word that comes to mind with Jefferson. He needs to run the ball more instead of holding on to it and thinking too much about what to do. One thing is for sure - the Oregon game will set the pace for the Tigers. The ducks are a formidable opponent for the Bayou Bengals.

That first game against Oregon should be an awesome game. I still believe JJ chokes again, and even if he deosn't, Miles will do something ignorant again to cost them a game. I wonder if he bought a watch that actually works yet?

The Oregon vs. LSU game is gonna rock Dallas. Not a ticket left in site! If LSU loses, I hear Miles is actually going to buy a hat that fits his head.

At least I am hearing some somewhat sane news from the Longhorn Nation. LSU has a tough road ahead this season (like most seasons because they play in the SEC) but I will give the Baton Rouge boys a lot of credit (or luck) for pulling games out when it looked like there was no way in hell to do so (see Tennessee game last year). No way better to open the season against a good team like Oregon - we ain't scared!
