Alright people. Where has the SABAN talk gone. It has gone quite dark from all the boards. OB, IT and Hornsports. Maybe this is by design and I assume it is. Hopefully this is a good sign that bigger things are on the horizon.

Mack looks like he is still hanging on. Cant believe he would want to coach another year though. The seats will be empty, our team is losing a ton and we are not even that good as it is. We lose, byndom, jeffcoat, whaley, phillips and possbile reed. On offense we lose hopkins, hawkins, walters, davis, and case. That is some serious production off of this team.

THoughts?

You must not have heard. Mack is coming back in 2014...

The new AD hire has taken the front seat for now.

I seriously doubt Mack returns.

Saban is still a viable option.

Less Saban talk the better our chances. Saban to Texas is still very much in the works. But less talk in this case means good things. That changes once the season is over.

If Mack wins the conference, it would be hard to can him. But it would be the ideal situation for him to go out on. To return and deal with a young, inexperienced QB with holes everwhere you look is not something you want to go out with. I'm hoping he's smarter than that and his emotional BS against his possible replacement is overcome by common sense.

Makes you wonder what's number 1 with him - him or UT.

If returning 19 starters didn't do much of anything than losing a few guys shouldn't matter either. We are a 4ish loss team regardless.

We won't win our conference. Tech is a toss up with our latest rash of injuries and Oklahoma St and Baylor are going to be embarrassing losses. Mack will be gone and we won't get Saban who isn't not coming because of an e-mail or anything Hicks' related.

I hope to see from McPhaul and other insiders more on other candidates who are much more believable than Saban. Oh, except I don't want to hear about Gruden or Tomlin because I'd rather keep Mack, which is saying a lot.

This....we're to the point in this thing where less is more. I expect a lot of what we do hear going forward will be some combination of misdirection and/or misinformation intentionally put out by the folks running the show to draw attention away from this discussion.

McPhaul you don't sound as confident as you use to.
