Per El Mahico he has told us that he's staying where he's at and planning to retire in 2-3 years.

Take it for what it's worth.

I hope that is NOT true.

I expect we're going to see more and more misdirection and misinformation being fed to the insiders to throw everyone off the scent. They've been making a concerted effort to try and reign in JS, McPhaul, El Mahico, and others for a few weeks now. We've just got through seeing the same misdirection exercise play itself out with the AD search with all those non-starter candidates being leaked. It was Luck all along from the time it was first decided DD needed to be retired. Hang in there guys, it's going to be a wild ride for the next 10 weeks.

This is about what I figured would happen all along. That's why I was never getting my hopes up too far. I just never thought it was gonna happen.

Where did he say this/post it? I think he is being told false info to slow down the talk

Bama has addressed some of his motivations for leaving. Smart move.
So, based on what we've been hearing, they have built-up Tuscaloosa into a nice retirement destination, paid back losses on hits his investments have endured, brought in more "with-it" donors/boosters, etc.?? Or did they just offer him an increased salary?

RealtorHorn,

Maybe none of your aforementioned "incentives / amenities" just do not matter to him at this point in his life. Many Bama fans have already hereby stated that "Nick Saban is already wealthy, and whatever he desires, they shall bend over backwards to ensure that he is rewarded". Those fans seem to really love him and appreciate him.... doesn't this form of " loyalty / dedication" account for something?

As I have stated upon many of my initial post that "Nick roll/tide Saban" just really doesn't have to journey to TEXAS. WHAT FOR?

Well, I received a very interesting email today. It shocked me. I am going to share it with you in this weeks Crossfire Report. I have been asked to exclude some names but, not positions or rank in file. It makes for some interesting bed fellows and goes against what some of our good friends at Inside Texas has reported.

You got to be careful because there is going to be certain groups trying to throw you off from this point forward..

Sounds good McPhaul.can't wait for the info. when do you plan on doing the Crossfire btw? I was able to confirm with my realtor friends on Saturday that the Mrs was in town again but not house hunting. I'm sure it's old news by now though
