I'm told from a DFW alum that the wheels are in motion after Mack announces his resignation Friday morning that the process to sign Saban begins. The contract has already been drawn up. Supposedly Saban has held out due to his respect and friendship for Brown. He wasn't going to act until Mack resigned his position. The announcement could be made prior to the Heisman trophy presentation. Not a lot unlike Florida's announcement of Will Muschamp a couple years back. Let's hope this is valid information. FWIW

I've got to think that Saban won't do this. He's got a player in New York and it would be pretty crappy to try and overshadow the Heisman with one of his own players there.

If AJ McCarron wasn't in NYC for the ceremony, then maybe, but I just don't see Saban upstaging that moment for his player - even though he's not going to even sniff winning it.

It may not happen, but I bet it's bought up unless they are instructed not to...

What's he going to trump, Winston winning the heisman? Why should he or UT care about that? Let's put our name out there and kick the media in the mouth!

Doesn't look like Mack will resign Friday morning. He still has to meet with Powers/Patterson
Saturday or Sunday or Monday the latest is what I would like to See?
