My goodness, stayed up most of the night hoping for some "Saban is leaving for Texas" news from Bama player tweets. Woke up at 6 this morning thinking I missed the announcement! You know the type of dream where you wake up thinking your dream is in real time due to you only getting a couple of hours of sleep?

The new HC announcement needs to happen today, because it is starting to jack with my sleep.

Saban has to be the guy, my dreams have never steered me wrong! Plus all the great HS posters are stating it will happen. ;)

I had that same dream about winning the powerball lottery one night. Woke up poor. Still pisses me off when I think about it! lol

I wish it would happen - but I say nay, nay. Be prepared for the Briles spread at our beloved university.

im feeling the same..i think its 50/50 briles or strong

Saban is not happening. And just because sometimes I like to stir the pot, I will also say that he never was happening. My source was adamant from day one that Saban never was coming to Texas no matter what I told her that I read on all the different sites. She started telling me this as far back as September and never, ever wavered.

I have no idea what happens with Saban now, but I dont thnk anyone knows to say 100% no as of this point

As to previous its hard to ever know because there are multiple people including some very credible people who would 100% disagree with you, and have some pretty detailed reasons why.

I hear you on the detailed reasons. I shared pretty much all the detailed reasons with my source. She just never bought into the idea that these detailed reasons were totally factual. She felt like that a lot of these detailed reasons fell more into the category of wishful thinking because of how badly a lot of people, including myself, wanted to believe that Saban was coming to Texas.

Who is is source??? Sally Brown? LOL Just trying to inject a little humor. Emphasis on LITTLE.

Actually my source is a successful businesswoman in the North Texas area who, while a die-hard Texas fan, really seemed to have the ability to step back and not let her emotions get in the way of her reasoning skills. And this despite working in an office that is dominated by aggie and ou blow-hards.

NTG---believe me..there are a LOT of people that agree with you and your source totally. But of course it's not a popular view on this board and therefore only a few people are willing to step up to the plate. Matter of fact, I'd say a substantial majority of successful business people agree with you, but of course there's no way to prove any of this. This is all fun and entertainment.

I want Saban but honestly don't think he'll leave even though I believe he wants to (pressures and better overall living situation in Austin). I do believe there is an offer out there and they are waiting for an answer. Too many pretty spot on insiders have been told samething.

Hail Mary on its way friends.
