He screwed up the Texans as a GM. At Alabama he had the #4 and #6 offense over his two years. Ohio State was #1 and #2 those years with Ryan Day calling the plays. I think Ryan Day wants to give up play calling so he can focus on the whole team. We'll see if it works.

O'Brien spent 8 years under either Saban or Bielececk and won ZERO championships. Think about how much those 2 guys won and he was never a part of a championship. Let that sink in.

It feels like Texas, Sark and Del Conte seem to be doing things the right way and not taking the shortcuts. Building it the right and getting a couple of breaks along the way. At least I hope that is the case.

I think this is a CYA. O'Brien will come in and screw everything up. That way Day can step in and be the hero.

I'm afraid the new portal additions are going to force some good players to the portal. Browsing the roster I come up with these good or average players.
