FSU has looked pretty bad the last two weeks. I still think its hard to put an undefeated team below a 1 loss champion.

All could be the 3-4-5 rankings tomorrow. I don't see Bama being above us as an option.

If conference championships and head to head matter the most, it's clear: Michigan, Washington, FSU, and Texas. The last two are interchangeable.

I was just looking at both strength of schedules of both #14 Louisville and FSU. I don’t think I have seen a worse offense than Louisville yet they are top offense in the acc. Something just doesn’t add up. FSU defense is pretty good but if the Louisville offense is of the best in the ACC then there are some over ranked teams in the acc. Even against a crappy Florida team the 2nd team QB was awful. If they get in the CFP they are going to get embarrassed

There is no doubt in my mind any of the top 8 teams will absolutely spank FSU without Travis. I wouldn’t put them in and if they do it will be embarrassing.

Each of those are champions and all would beat the current FSU team by 20+. That’s obvious

Hard to keep an undefeated team out of the playoffs, but fsu is not a top 8 team. They are out. Horns and Bama in. Horns get the #3 seed.

I'm not reading anything saying Texas is out. It comes down to 'Bama or FSU being #5. Eye test says FSU, record says 'Bama.

I absolutely agree with this.

I think this is pretty simple for the committee:

- You have 3 undefeated P5 Conf Champions, all in
- You have 2 one loss P5 Conf Champions who actually played each other with a clear winner. The H2H winner is in.

Simple and clean.

My thoughts exactly. Committee needs take all of 5 minutes to declare the four teams for the CFP.

If money and politics get involved (shocking!), then FSU gets replaced by Alabama.
