They've beat us more than enough. Neal Brown isn't the answer there, but his buyout is outrageous for a lower level P5 team.

I went ahead and looked it up.

Their ladies hoops team won a conference tourney, but not the regular season one year.

Their women's soccer team has won 5 titles.

Thats it, across all sports. I was surprised by the number of sports where WV does not field a team.

These things up to now have been somewhat cyclical.  For a long time Georgia was and Alabama were down now they are up. Texas has been down, and hopefully on a serious upswing. 

With the emergance of the big 2 conferences ,NIL , the transfer portal and escalating coaches salaries it will be difficult for Virginia Tech and West Virginia type schools to achieve sustainable success.
