**Running College Football Updates Thread**

The NIL is destroying college football. Someone is going to have to step in and give each college a set limit to spend on players otherwise, the NIl is going to destroy college football.   This is simply not sustainable.
Schools can not spend any money on players. NIL rules allow a player to be paid by private entities for use of his name, image or likeness. No one is going to step in a set a limit on how much a player can make from these types of endorsement deals.

We definitely need some guiderails in place but don't look for that to come in the way of an NIL cap. Hopefully we can at least get some handle on the tampering issue that seems to be running rampant right now.

The newest strategy.

So they're giving $6K to each football player just to pass their required courses and calling it an academic scholarship?

If this is the case, then there is chaos and panic in dead dog town tonight.

Or not.

Fine line exists between paying them to come and paying them once they come.

It's  a really good read on SI.com.  Not a big fan of SI, but this guy did a good job on finding out the info in his story. Over 100 universities getting guildlines and task force to present to the NCAA this upcoming week in Arizona. Have to see where it goes this upcoming week.
