Shit is only changing in your swollen little head. In reality, nobody fires their head coach after six friggin games into their first season.

That is absolutely insane. But it does make for good comedy.

Sark doesn't lose his job after 1 season.  Got to give him at least 4 years to get his own guys.  The problem is that without winning he won't get his own guys...but we'll see.

Why are you determined that the football program be made a mockery? You don't fire a coach after 1 season. You don't fire him after six games.

Five FBS coaches have been canned before November, the same total in the last four years combined. It's a sign of a growing trend in the sport.

In fact, USC is the only school since 2011 to have made three coaching changes before November. The Trojans left Lane Kiffin on the tarmac in September 2013, fired Steve Sarkisian in October 2015 and eschewed Helton after Game 2 this year.

Yep, I don't care to spend that much time on researching this. I agree. The landscape keeps changing though. The articles are good reading on the subject. The trend is - if an AD feels change is due, sooner is better than later.

I don't think we can compare the late 60's, 70's to current day.  There's way too much money in this business called college football now.
