Lease payments and insurance coverage are not considered direct compensation?
By the University of Utah or their athletic department?

No, it's via the collective which is legit.

If Kyle Whittingham is giving out trucks or telling recruits they'll get trucks from a random booster, that's illegal.

This is essentially an endorsement deal for the whole team.

Okay. That wasn't clear in the original statement which said Utah was giving trucks to all scholarship players.
Thanks.

And the fan was right. The 4th down call was horrific.
Maybe so. I didn't watch the game, but any 4th down play is a high risk, high reward thing. when it works out the fans love the successful play, when it doesn't it's going to get second guessed, particularly in a loss.

I just can't imagine why a top level coach would want to use up time and energy on something that will never end well. The coach ended up looking immature and not likable. If I was Pitman I would be furious, as if he doesn't have enough other distractions to worry about.

An SEC OC getting into an email pissing contest with a fan seems incredibly idiotic. As if arky didn't have enough problems.
They're so bad.

Unfortunate they weren't on the schedule this year.
