especially them barefoot sorority girls....
LOL, that was definitely one of the more interesting things that came out of the Caleb Williams saga.

For those that don't know, it appears Williams has a foot fetish based on some social media chatter from sorority girls.

I watched the Super Bowl (first NFL game I watched this season) last night at some friend's house and during the introductions I noticed a lot of players listing their HS's instead of their colleges, including Trey Hopkins of Texas. Anyone know why they did that?

I don't, but I don't like it. You could say both if you felt obligated to. Nobody stopping that.

Betcha there’s a little less urgency to get out of the Big 12 + 2 early after this. I can see the argument: need to be slow and measured in these transitions, we need to honor our agreement, etc.

Four years isn't slow and measured. It's watching grass grow.

I’m not saying that’s my argument. I’m saying the athletic department may think they have a better shot at the playoffs in the Big 12 if there are only four teams getting in. They’ll need some spin. The other Big 12 teams may end up letting us go  early for free if they think they’ll have a better chance.

The better shot is in the SEC. They get two teams a year in. We only send OU, some years, and they get embarrassed.

If by chance an 12-1 Texas team came out of the Big 12 next year, they would be in the CFP

If things hold to form as it sits right now, concerning who goes where and when, then the Big 12 will be a 14 team conference in 2024. The winner of that year would have some credibility.

The announcement of S Miss, Marshall and OD's decision to leave on June 20 this year (and let the lawyers sort it out) could accelerate everyone's timetable. Kind of a trickle up scenario.
