College Football fan, traveling from Minnesota, tired of watching mediocre football. We have a boys weekend planned for Dallas and plan to attend the Texas-Oklahoma game. Looking for some tips regarding getting tickets and tailgating. What are the best options to get tickets, on-line or day of the game? Where are the good tailgating sites and what time does tailgating start? Greatly appreciate your insights a s Go Horns!!

I would get tickets ahead of time just to make sure you have a seat - that game is packed every year. As far as tailgating, just about everyone hangs inside the fairgrounds, but I'm tagging @MBHORNSFAN so that he can let you know where the UTTailgaters will be hanging out. Get there early, eat a Fletchers corn dog for breakfast and wash it down with a cold beer.
What part of Minnesota are you from? Lived in Arden Hills/Shoreview area many years ago.
