Here is a local TV news feature from last night (Fri) on BonneyWhat is the news for John Bonney tonight?
It's actually 2000 mi. CS should be recruiting his Mom hard with the idea that she'll be able to easily attend 8-9 games per year compared to maybe 1 at UO.Oregon 247 boards think his mom is coming with him, and I think that's important. Springs is a SA kid, do you think his mom wants him playing close to home or a 1,000 miles away? Strong needs to work on the mom just as much as Arrion.
The other thing about Springs is he's already used up his 5 official visits, so he's visiting on his own dime. You can't tell me he's not at least a little bit interested in Texas if his family is spending their own money.
Similar to Peter Jinkens, if I recall he was faster than Jonathan Gray, but about 195 lbs as a Sr. He could have used a redshirt since he is just now putting on mass.If you think Bonney is thin you should see Alaka, and Alaka plays LB. Sometimes 17 and 18 year olds aren't physically ready for the next level until a couple years. That's why I'm interested to see if Alaka plays next year (that apparently was the selling card that got him to College Station). If Alaka plays next year he's going to be eaten alive, because he needs to add at least 30 or 40 pounds IMO.

With 6 Texans already on the Ducks roster, I'm sure they would charter a plane to get this kid's family up there. It's actually 2000 mi. CS should be recruiting his Mom hard with the idea that she'll be able to easily attend 8-9 games per year compared to maybe 1 at UO.
