Maybe not. He could just be being honest with the kid. My guess would be that the coaches have decided that certain prospects would need to be reevaluated and Wick was just letting the kid know that's what's happening.

Looking at the tweet that Garza put out, we do not need a whiner. Coach Strong has already stated that the current staff will reevaluate possible 2015 commitments after the 2014 LOI signings are complete. Please give Coach Strong and his staff the courtesy of an opportunity to put into place his own coaching techniques and agenda so that he can put his brand upon the type of team he wants to represent The University of Texas.

2 things. Deionte Thompson would be a better receiver. Richard Yeargin looks like a lock in at Clemson... But if we steal him that would be great.

-WR Lorenzo Joe is expected to sign with Texas next week despite a great visit to TCU.

-2015 OL Connor Lanfear says after his visit to A&M that he's "not de-committing anytime soon" and is anxious to meet with the new UT staff. All should be well as long as the new staff lets it be known that he is wanted.

-Things do not look promising with CB Nick Harvey. He is expected to remain with A&M.

Along with DE Kolin Hill of Schertz Clemens, two new names the staff are trying to get on campus this weekend are DT/DE Breeland Speaks of Jackson, MS and DE Richard Yeargin III of Fort Lauderdale, FL. 24/7 saying Speaks has an official visit to Arkansas this upcoming weekend, but may bump it in order to visit Austin. Yeargin was supposedly offered last night but has not set up anything as of this morning.

Also, Strong visited Garnett today at his school. Garnett recently made the grades for UT, so Texas may be going after him again.
