Ray Allen says he will sign a contract with the Miami Heat. He goes on to say the reason is he Celtics disrespected him. His contract with the Heat is a multi-year deal worth $3 million a year.

The Celtics disrespected him so much that they offered him a multi-year deal at $6 million a year.

Sorry but I would like an explanation of how an employer who is offering you twice as much as another employer is disrespecting you? Only in pro sports..

I have always liked Ray Allen but this move is all about hopping on the Heat Gravy train. Honestly I think Miami wins another title next year and Allen and everyone else know it. The NBA is changing.... Not sure I like where things are headed.

Miami has become the place where athletes who don't want to work anymore Go!

Allen feels disrespected because in his mind he is still a 40 minute a game perennial All Star, and his skill set hasnt diminished.

Miami is going to be come like the Patriots were for awhile, that place where the old guy takes less money to try and get a title (or one more)

He could barely get a shot off against the Heat..He didn't want to compete anymore so he went to the Heat because he can just be a spot up shooter..He and guys like him are whats wrong with sports..IMHO

He's 36 years old and slowing down. He can do less and get more in Miami.
