Predicting Texas' Record

I predict 9-3 in the regular season, with losses to LSU (too much inexperience early in the season on defense, especially at CB), OU, and another in-conference loss (probably ISU). Maybe that'll be enough to make it to the Big XII title game, but that's hard to predict.

I expect Texas will go to a relatively high-ranked non-NY6 bowl and kick the snot out of someone.

We can't quite match your indomitable spirit, Java, but just look at the optimism across the board so far. Not even an 8-4, yet. Sooooo much better than the hand wringing and wailing in the not so distant past. 

Yes, I'll always remember 2005. To be honest, I was just happy we were in the NC game. I really didn't expect us to beat USC, but we did, didn't we.

Fish, I was so excited about that game!  Brought out the party clothes, you know the burnt orange ones. Even had a kerchief for my Aussie. 

It never even occurred to me that we would lose it!
