Post NSD1: Who is left on the board?

@okiehorn, what are you hearing about DL Courtre Alexander?
I asked buddy today why the heck he didn’t sign yesterday.... his response was Alexander was close to pulling the trigger but now that he has some offers coming in his wants to visit different places. He is obviously close with josh proctor (who signed with Ohio st last night) from Owasso and been leaning on him for some advice. I asked the million dollar question do you think he will be a longhorn and he said he firmly believes thru the grapevine he really liked UT facilities and thinks sky’s the limit there.

Thats all I got. I’ll keep buggin em about it trust me lol

Off topic. Just read Reggie H-M might be looking to transfer. Possibly homesick
Well heck it seemed like he only did punt returns anyway majority of the season. Still confused by that. Ready for all the transfers to actually happen and put that to bed

He was a go to receiver for a stretch, than disappeared with a half game suspension and less production.  Have to chuckle at the homesick angle, isn't he from the far away land of Manvel near Dallas?

RHM was really, really good and solid for us as a freshman. Anyone thinking him possibly leaving is no big deal is off their rocker. We need a dozen more like him.

He didn’t play as much after he got suspended for violating team rules. I’m not sure what’s going on there, but may have something to do with it. He’s an electric slot when he sees the field.

Except for whatever off field issues kept him out of some game action.

If that’s the case that’s comical. But yes that’s what I Kinda meant, he just disappeared. That’s a better way to put it

That Waddle recruitment will make a take a whole bottle of Tylenol just forthat whole situation alone

Manvel's just south of Houston. Google maps says it's a 3 hour drive from UT to Manvel. He's going to be really limited in his transfer options if he's looking for a significantly shorter drive home than that...aggyland is about 2 hours from Manvel, and I don't see a homesick player transferring (and missing a year of eligibility) to live 2 hours from home instead of 3. That leaves U of H and Rice as his only FBS transfer options.

I really don't know who we have a realistic shot at with the remaining prospects on the board

I feel like we'll at least get the guys we've had in the fold: Ingram and Coburn. If you liked Texas but weren't sure (Coburn) how can you not feel sure now? The rest, who knows. I think with yesterdays grand slam, though, Herman won't have too hard a time of it.

I talked to him at junior days in the summer. No maybe about it.
And recruits have always done exactly as they told you? And even if he committed he might be D committed by now. There are no sure things until they sign the LOI.

Come on! You got to think more positive than that!

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
Lol umm Germans? Lol I missed that part of the segment in my history class. In all honesty though If I was ne off 3 of them in that list I would say Alexander , Johnson and if they get after it Keys. Herman is gonna make sure he leaves no stone unturned.Shoot I forgot Vernon Jackson. I can see them making ground work on Jackson
