Jon is coming on board to handle all things Texas sports, but his biggest value will be in covering Texas hoops recruiting. Basketball recruiting hasn't been covered well on this site, mainly because I'm not very good at it, but we want to change that going forward with the hiring of Shaka Smart and undoubtedly great times ahead for the Basketball program. Jon will also help out on the football recruiting side. He is a current student at Texas and operates a podcast on Longhorn sports radio called Burnt Orange Blitz.
