Regarding your post, I wouldn't put it past someone to think they can "save the day" and go make a visit or talk to someone, but at the end of the day I figure the nearly $10 billion of the Big Three are doing what they want to do with Saban.

Also, there are regents posting on various websites and they are very upset all this is leaking.

I've always wondered if some of the "inside info" leaking from various people has ruined this. That's not a jab at McPhaul. I'm going to eventually buy him the cheapest cold beer this city has to offer. But I've wonder if the "jumping of the gun" can hurt. Then again, I don't care too much. I just want Mack gone. Shaw just signed an extension with Stanford - I know that might mean nothing, but I think it's telling.

Jimbo is in the NC game - unless he has real estate debts like Saban, I don't see why he would leave FSU. Maybe - he was on the hot seat not very long ago with impatient fans.

I don't worry too much about being slammed as much as I want to provide honest information to this conversation. I'm not one to simply post a rumor to stimulate the conversation. But, like I eluded to in my original post, anything is possible at this juncture. But I do appreciate your kinds and I love being a part of this community. My BIL has known Rex Tillerson for nearly 20 years. He's not involved in the day to day, but he's doing his part behind the scenes.

Tom Hicks - the brother of Steven is usually involved in the big coaching hires and he's very good at it.
