Players Restaurant being bought by UT

UT evidently needs the space to expand the campus but I sure hate to see this restaurant go. Man, many good times were had there when I was in school.

No responses to this post??? This was an establishment on campus. I loved the burgers there. Man, it sucks to see it go. Campus has really changed in the last 10-15 years.

Just saw something about this place the other day. Texas bought the place but leased it back to the owners so it looks like it will stick around, for awhile anyway.

Drove by it last week and everything looked fine. Business as usual I guess. Great news that UT is leasign it back to the owners because it would be a sin to do away with their burgers.
