Per the Texas Athletic Department:
Longhorn junior safety P.J. Locke III underwent successful surgery on Wednesday in Philadelphia to repair an athletic pubalgia (“sports herniaâ€) injury sustained this spring. Locke, who started nine games last season, is expected to undergo rehabilitation of the injury for four to six weeks before returning to off-season workouts this summer.
