Read a column by David Ubben that brought a few things to light about the Sooners. Offensive guard Tyler Evans tore his ACL and will be out for the season. Their center, left the team and quit football because of injuries. True Freshman guard John Michael McGee left the team this week stating "It's just not for me" (referring to OU) via his twitter account.

That's 3 linemen that are gone leaving noticeable holes for Landry Jones. There is significant talk about whether or not OU is a top 5 team now. Let's hope for our sake this hurts them like hell.

Jones has enough trouble with pressure defenses, so I say this is pretty damn good news right about now! Hook that OU ass!

Or you can hook this...

I'm not sure they were a top 5 team before all this happened. In fact, I really don't think they were.

I like our chances in the RRR. Ash will be healthy, our defense is king and we have the best damn running game in the nation. It's on!

I think if we beat OU, it will bring fear into other teams. Heck if we beat Okie State I think that the perception will turn around but we beat OU, to the rest of the media, we will have turned it around. The bad part of that will be playing Baylor and Nick Florence is good and they could upset us.

Baylor will be a test but hell, at least we aren't facing RG3 again. The WVU / OU stretch will be the test. I think we beat WVU and the OU game will be close. I'm not going homer on u but Texas splits those games and it is on the way to a 10 win season and possible BCS bowl.
