Hey guys I am considering buying one of the new systems soon. Any recomendations?

Xbox one is pretty awesome. I love it. Probably won't get a ps4.
Yeah? I have a 360 right now, never did get a PS3. Is the Xbox One a huge leap beyond the 360?

I'd say so. I have a 360, the one blows it out if the water graphics and functionality wise. I enjoy the voice commands and tv integration though, if you are not in to that then id go ps4. I must say that the tv integration and Voice commands work really well and are worth it.

Awesome! Thanks buddy! I was leaning towards the XOne. Any good football games for it? the newest NCAA perhaps?

Unfortunately ncaa broke their partnership with EA so there will be no more NCAA games. The last, 2014, is on the 360. Madden 25 is on the xbox one though.

That's right I had forgotten that! Damn! So no college football game for the next gen consoles? That's gonna suck! Maybe another developer will get the rights from the NCAA.

i had a ps4 but i sold it fast..wasnt all that..now its prolly cause there library of games is weak atm but i felt i wasted 400$..im back on my 360 waiting for next gen to heat up better..

I picked up the the PS4 in November and I love it and I would highly recommend it. Never been an xbox fan but thats just me.

Both new systems are far superior than their previous. It's apples and oranges as to which is better. You could make a hard argument either way. IMHO.

My only recommendation is waiting through the first round of production until any potential hardware probs arise from the consumer reports and are then worked out. This is also gives time for gaming software refinement, and the developers time to come out with games that really utilize the systems capabilities.

All good points guys! and thanks for the info. And you're right Bfennell, I probably should wait...then again I have no patience what so ever! lol. I did experience the RROD on my 360 twice. Thankfully MS sent me a new unit both times.

My sons have an Xbox 360 and PS3.

The PS3 is better as the online network is free each year, compared to Xbox Live membership costs.

Something to think about.

I thought I read that Sony was going to charge for the online service for the PS4? Anybody else hear that?

I am sorry guys, but what are you all talking about. I have a TV and a radio.........so I am not up to date, I guess.

Yeah you have to have Playstation Plus which is the same thing as xbox live gold. It cost me 49.99 for a 1 year membership.

XBOX one all the way.. the $100 more is worth it for Kinect, voice, tv integration, apps, ESPN, NFL.... PS4 is $100 less and just a gaming machine....

Agree. I'm the idiot who paid $700 for a 20gb PS3 when it first came out and then had to replace it 5 years later due to known issues after the warranty period. Both PS3 and Xbox 360 had hardware issues when they were released that were fixed later on.

Game selection currently stinks on both the newest gen systems. In 18 months there will be hundreds of games and the sytems will be 40% cheaper.

If you just can't wait - then buy the PS4!

Have a PS4, love it. Have had every Playstation since the first. Love the exclusives on it (Uncharted, God of War etc...). I was contemplating getting an Xbox One also, way back when they were first announced, but the whole DRM thing kind of turned me off to the Xbox. That and the fact that its performance isnt as good as the PS4, and becuase of its use of ESRAM, its much harder to develop for (words straight out of Developers mouths). That and I LOOOOVE the PS4 controller.
