OT - TOS Codes?

I thought TOS was a generic term, but it appears to be assigned to one site.  So what are the individual codes for each other site so I properly identify them without using their direct name.  (This sounds like a NSA thing)

I assume by TOS they mean 24/7. . . while IT and OB tend to be referred to by abbreviations . .. 

Perhaps going to 4 keystrokes for 24/7 is too much. . .who knows. . ..

When you are trying to build something ... on the architectural construction documents, TOS usually means 'Top of Slab", the height of which is usually referenced on the Structural Engineer's documents.  Who the hell knows what it means on sports forums.

If TOS means OB, then why was OB the place where it was invented when referring to THE OTHER SITES?

The man-bear-pig wanted no content or reference on OB from other competing sites. So we were told to use TOS instead.
