OT: Playing Torrey Pines

I know. I wouldn't change your sticks. If you're used to hitting a flex shaft, stick with it. It's not likely to be gusting winds in the 40 MPH range. You should be just fine.

This, getting fitted will do more for your game than anything. General rule of thumb is if you are playing too firm a shaft you will hit the ball out to the right, too limber = pulls left. A general guideline. If your hitting them straight shaft is probably not far off, but a launch monitor will dial you in.

Thanks!! Most drives are to the left and center. Also, most shots are to left except my wedges as they are steel shafts and I hit them straight.

 
You are welcome. My guess is shaft may be a little soft in the flex, but again check it on the monitor as it could be the swing.

I played at the backyard....hit 3 home runs before I had to stop, hope the neighbors throw my golf balls back over the fence.
