OT: Hardwood Floor Installation

Got quoted for $3,000 for 600sq ft and flight of stairs. Is this too much? I was hoping $1500 for installation.

That's about right, really. If you're looking for less you'll either sacrifice quality or catch a really good deal on a known, respected product.

So, I've been to Floor & Décor, Boss Flooring, Home Depot, Lowes, Lumber Liquidators. Any other stores I should hit in DFW for engineered hardwood floors? Haven't found the right floor within my budget.

actually, if that includes the flooring it is fine, if not, it is a bit high...you can find installation prices of around $3 per foot

Actually found installation for 600 sq ft plus stairs for $2200 for installation! Stoked!
