OT: Being single at a kid's bday party

Please kill me now. This is really painful and boring. I can't relate to anyone. Talks of school applications, nursing, baby clothes, etc...I've had 2 beers in 30 minutes already. They said cake not for another hour or so. Thank goodness for cell phones and Horn Sports as I sit here awkwardly by myself.

LOL.....I like kids but too many is overwhelming and parenting talk, I can't relate. I would rather talk business or sports. I can't contribute much to their conversations nor understand what they're going through. I like being fun auntie but feel left out when kids ignore me and play with each other.
