Texas Sports had this as part of their photo gallery from the Thanksgiving game and I stared at it for quite a while. This is a fairly profound image, no matter how you interpret it (in my opinion). Take a look and let us know what you think.

Great photo and that's a great way to go out. I really hope he steps away because I want that to be the last thing I remember from him at DKR.

I respect and enjoy what Mack has done with the program. He took us from a bad point and a fractured fan base and won a title and nearly won a couple more. Without a doubt the 2nd best coach ever on the 40 Acres. His image and status here has taken a massive hit over these past 4 years and if he wants to be remembered fondly it's time to step away now. If he stays another season and has failures like he did this year, things are going to get EXTREMELY ugly and I don't think he wants that. He can't want that.

Last time?
I hope so.

I also hope that Sally's increased presence around him this season, which wasn't the case in previous years, is an indicator that this is Mack's much overdue swan song. It is better for his health, the health of the Texas program and, most importantly, the current and future players that need greater leadership than what Mack is providing now.

I think it was just a good photo, nothing more.

That said, if by some chance that was it, what a great image.

Seems like a goodbye image to me. Some other signs were seen on Thur. Someone on IT mentioned Mack came out to the field several mins after the team arrived and was followed by a camera crew. Deloss was there to shake his hand in front of the cameras. The camera crew had actually followed Mack all the way from the busses to inside the stadium

there has been some rumor the LHN is documenting things for a tribute to come when Mack steps down

Interesting what each of us read into visual images. Fascinating. I will say that Sally is always with him on the field after games. My heart wants to believe, wants to believe, believe, believe... :)

Great Picture of Mack & Sally leaving for the last time........Mack also seams happy and calm.

Have a good retirement.

Word on the street was two things

1 - That theyve had it ready since after BYU and keep it updated

2 - That they keep those pieces ready all the time for everyone.
