So suck it Rice
Until we see evidence that Stumblin has grown a pair, it really wouldn't surprise me if he comes back to practice in a day or two or three and starts their bowl game.I can't tell what would be worse for them. Him transferring or getting him to stay and immediately making him the starting QB. Either way a lot of damage is already done
Good questionIs there a limit to how many schools that can be blocked?
Not to my knowledge. They can block any and all NLI institutions if they so choose. Then the player has two opportunities to appeal. Approximately a 3-month process to go through both appeals. Is there a limit to how many schools that can be blocked?
As a coach, you're being a spiteful prick at that point.Just looked it up. Gundy blocked 40 schools when a former OSU QB elected to transfer. Shannon, formerly of Miami, blocked every ACC and SEC school for one of his players. He also blocked every school in the state of Florida, despite the kid wanting to play at USF in Tampa Bay because that is where his father was being treated for cancer.
That is too much. I can understand blocking a conference and any OOC rivals. But I don't agree with blocking a state.
And here I was thinking that Randy Shannon was one of the good guys.... that's terrible. Coaches should not have that kind of power.Just looked it up.
