Baylor athletic director and College Football Playoff chairman Mack Rhoades is stepping away from both roles for personal reasons.

Sideline incident: During a game on September 20, 2025, Rhoades allegedly approached tight end Michael Trigg and used profanity to question his long-sleeved yellow shirt, which was worn to cover a shoulder brace.

Post-game incident: After the game, Rhoades reportedly "verbally accosted" an assistant coach, grabbing his arm and shoulder/neck area in front of other staff and family members.

HR investigation: The incidents led to multiple HR complaints and a university investigation. The investigation included questioning witnesses and reviewing video evidence.

The school had issued a release saying the incident was "thoroughly reviewed and investigated in accordance with University policies, appropriate actions were taken and the matter is now closed."

That statement sounded very similar to the their statement about incidents under Briles. Perhaps the above statement is true, but Baylor lost all credibility with their handling of Briles.

Eastern New Mexico is expected to hire Art Briles as their next HC.

ENM is Div II.

Sounds like Colorado State is going to announce Jim Mora as their next HC. Good choice, IMO.

Also, Arkansas seems poised to name Alex Golish (South Florida) as their next HC

Pulling for OU to lose. Always!
Vanderbilt to lose.
Miami to lose.
Alabama to lose.

I guess Ohio State to win 🤢 Helps Texas with quality opponent, but 🤮
I think we would pass Vandy whether they win or lose since we beat them head to head... It may be better that they win... higher ranked and better win.

OU and Alabama losing would be awesome. Would we pass a 2-loss Oregon if they lose to Washington?

Also interesting... Texas shut down aggy without our number 1 or number 2 best defensive player last night.

Vandy is behind at the half.

OU and in a 3-3 tie nearing halftime.

Former Texas offensive assistant Brennan Marion has been hired as the new OC at Colorado. Marion has been the HC at Sacremento State the past two years.

it's just because you are from the panhandle. I just hate hearing how great they are every year only to mostly fail. So, they are batting .100 on successful seasons.
I have been to dozens of games in Jones. Fans are worse than Arky aggy, and ou. Hope BYU tears them a new one.

Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark took issue Tuesday with Notre Dame athletic director Pete Bevacqua's criticism this week of the ACC, calling his behavior "egregious."

My initial thoughts, keep in mind I couldn't care less about Notre Dame, are the Big 12 and it's commissioner are egregious and who cares what he thinks.
