Last night, I thought Saban looked like a man coaching his last game with his current team. Not the normal Saban, IMO.

I have finally decided that the 2 coaches I want the most are either JIM Harbaugh or Gus Malzhan.
Saban is having a difficult time with the spread. Malzahn is the coach from Alabama that we want.

Do you think it is Saban or Smart, that has troubles with the spread? And, do you think they are really just having troubles with the fast pace offenses? When you recruit double digit IQ players, like you can in the SEC, it may just be a case of the defense not being smart enough to adjust.

Just checked in with my guys, nothing has changed. Just waiting on an answer. Leaks everywhere are intentional today.

Both still say it's Saban until Saban accepts or says no. Expecting to hear late afternoon, but could carry into Saturday.

Briles and Mora are off the table.

Saban and Strong have recruited players that fit the SEC style offenses they face. It has largely worked well for them. No doubt if the spread becomes more entrenched in the SEC, Saban/Strong will adjust their recruiting accordingly. I am sure that if Saban comes to UT, he and his DC will recruit players to defend the spread. Saban did not get to be where he is by being a one trick pony. I not saying he is coming here, but if he does he will do just fine.
