Am I the only one on the board that does not like Ash at QB? He has flashes but the kid is not good. I don't know any other top program that would have started him at QB. Purely my opinion, obviously. Good kid, don't like him at QB.
OU and Florida would have started him in a heartbeat.

Go back through Texas history and make a list of guys that are better than Ash. QB is the position with the fewest number of great players in our programs history. We have a history of winning with running backs and defense.

Yea, let's give all the credit to Mack. After all, he was the coach who actually had to make the call when the decision was on the line. Oh, wait. That was Coach Strong.

Poona seems to be enjoying himself today

Wasnt it both?

Mack originally when the injury occurred.

And now Strong/Patterson.

Wasnt it both?
Only if it would have been that if Coach Strong had said no, would Mack have been able to change that decision. Charlie Strong is the one who decided to honor the commitment when it came to making sure the commitment was honored on the day it mattered (today). In my mind, Coach Strong was free to honor or not honor any of Mack's commitments when he took over the program.

Ricky and Ced

on LHN

talking recruiting

and a little on our current RBs

pretty sweet segment

both those guys have great smiles

Poona Ford to decide in 10 minutes. I would be shocked if it's not Texas. Mizzou maybe but the favorite is Texas.

I spent school years at both Jasper and Newton... and Texas. Full circle!

Still hopeful for Shorter that he may play, for his own experience, and that the takes advantage of just being a student here.
