There is no receiver on this roster that I would consider a stud. There might one or two, at most, that might turn out to be one. At this point, we have nothing more than average receivers.

Don't know, but I just put my CB for him on the other thread. Lol.

Maybe I misspoke by calling them “studs” but I think we have a TON of potential at WR. Consistent reliable qb play is the only way to know, IMO.

Epic, really... and we haven't seen a class like this since the Mack years, so... I'm happy as a puppy with two peters.

A-. Its the number 3 class in the country so any negative remarks would be nitpicking. Maybe could have grabbed another LB or WR, but it's hard to complain about the overall class. Herman was able to get 2 quarterbacks, the state's top RB, shored up the offensive and defensive line, and signed the best DB class in recruiting rankings history.

Yeah I agree we came up short there hoping for another Lb and WR.. I thought we would've got Parker.. But A- sounds about right

Would really like to see Duverney stay, double down, and be the slot guy he can be. Instead of getting down, he needs to seize this opportunity and make a new start right here. The position is right there for the taking. Get on it.

You’re right. I didn’t. Mike Davis, Caleb jones, daje are what come to mind. But it’s probably more accurately I think we have burned more “potential” than we have destroyed careers. I, personally, think we have an incredibly talented wr corps right now... a ton of potential. Will we have the qb play to flesh out that potential? Cause I mean we can’t just say all these wr’s have terrible work ethic and give the qbs routine passes, right?

I get the Duvernay situation but I don't want him to stay. Hi isn't 100% in it and he isn't a slot WR. His size is slot WR but not skills. And his attitude makes me want to kick is (/) out

I mean Swoopes, baby McCoy, Ash are all qbs that don’t start anywhere in D1 that plan to win... so, to me, that stunts the potential of almost all the skill positions.

Ash was a damned good QB. He just happened to be a casualty of injuries. To lump him in with Swoopes and Case is a dis service and shows lack of FB knowlege

I think the receiver play does have something to do the level of QB play. And I also think the opposite is true as well. Improve the play at either position and the other position would also be better.

It’s hard for me to imagine anyone criticizing Ash. We saw him play as a Freshman. After that, he split time with McCoy and changed offensive systems. Then, when he looked really good, Dom went down, and Major, the guy who just hired little Briles, used him as a battering ram. 

Give me a break!
