My thoughts on the OU/Texas game

Greg Robinson was a good defensive coordinator, but I'm not quite sure he's the defensive guru y'all are making him out to be.  Our defense last year didn't hold up so well against Oklahoma State, Baylor and Oregon.

At the risk of offending you. . . .

Our D played VERY well in all 3 of those games. . .

D held OSU to 24 points. . . .season average  39

D held Baylor to 23 points. . .   52

D held Oregon to 16 points. . . .49

I don't blame the D for 5 Pick 6's spread out over those 3 games. . . .

If we have any offense at all, we win 2 of those games at least. . .and win the BigXII. . . .

Robinson did a very good job last year putting a tourniquet on the gaping wound that was the Diaz-defense. He kept the season from completely spiraling out of control.

I think Bedford/Strong's defense is at least as good so far and has a chance to be better.

No offense taken and I stand corrected.

As STP has stated above, I think our D is in great hands with Strong and Bedford and is probably performing at least if not better than Robinson's D of last year.
