That's a shocking development.

SignUp Now!Yep. It's also a far better option than going back to being a DC. Now he can learn to be a HC without necessarily learning on the fly with the fact that his expectations will be much lower. That said, I think it's much easier to be a HC at a lower tier school with a gimmick offense than a strong defense.said in the other thread...winner, winner. UH's last coach was some guy named tony levine. Muschamp at least brings a little gracitas to the job and it's a good place for him to rebuild his image without the pressure of 'big time' expectations.
Potential landing spot for Major as OC?
I could potentially see Miles taking the Michigan job and then Herman taking the LSU spot.Wouldn't shock me. . .
Tom Herman I think will land a better gig than UH. . .
Frankly unless Michigan thinks they can tap Harbaugh. . . . If I'm then, I suck it up and get Herman. ..
Is it a done deal?2 mil a year to coach the Cougars after being fired from the Florida job isn't too bad of a deal.
That new stadium at UH is really nice too. Plus they serve beer!
Yeah, I always thought he would have been better served being a HC at a place like this where there is less pressure than Florida/Texas. At the same time, can't blame him for taking the chance when Florida offered.A step down for sure but as has been said this might be a good place for him to start over and not have real high expectations coming in. I wish coach Boom good luck!
I kind of figured he'd stay in the sec. I'd think Auburn before HC at UH.
