Following losing James (who is still awaiting his MRI results) , we barely have a full line left to start (not counting redshirts)

Hopefully, it is not serious

If Strong can get this team to 6 wins I have even more faith in his coaching ability.

Darius James-out for year (OL)
Bernard-out for the year (WR/Special teams)
Alex Norman-out indefinitely with a back injury (DT)
Miles Onyegble-out for the season (QB)
Tank-out for the season (DT)
Ash-retired (QB)
Huhn-out for the season (Safety)
Espinoza-out for the season (OL)
Evans-out for the season (DB)

Dismissals/transfers/suspensions

Estelle
Davis
Hammad
Harrison
Sanders
Bergeron
Scott
Moss
Meander
Overstreet
Collins

Maybe we can slip Tristan Nickelson into an orange jersey?

Although he may be too large to disguise.

I know getting to a bowl game is important for recruiting, but there almost comes a point where ending the season might be a good thing. Get some of these bodies rested and healed. A bowl game does no good for a team that's just having to shuffle players around to fill positions. TCU is a good example. I think not making a bowl game last year was good for them in a way so they could get some important pieces healthy.

Not to mention, if there is a chance to match us with aggy in a bowl, which appears is possible, the bowls and conferences will do it.

Something I am not much in favor of seeing.

If it impacts recruiting significantly I hope we make a bowl. If it doesn't I could honestly give two craps about making a crap bowl if that means burning shirts. That's how I see it.

At this point, it doesn't look serious enough to warrant talk of burning shirts.

Sounds like it's the same thing as the KSU game. Hopefully they're being overly-cautious and this isn't a sign of a weakening/recurring problem.

He was limping post-KSU but could've played if necessary.

I hear Kent Perkins will NOT travel to Stillwater

The good news -- "It didn't look bad."

If Perkins is injured you are going to see a lot of packages with Swaim, De La Torre, and Daniels. Swaim and De La Torre are honestly two of our best blockers, we should utilize them more to begin with. With the weather being crap on Saturday look for a lot of 2 WR sets with a fullback and TE on the line blocking.

The number of injuries (and suspensions) to this team have been nothing short of shocking. The only comparison I can think of for UT football in the last 50 years was I believe 1967 when DKR had a very good team coming back in the fall - the media dubbed it: " '67, Year of the Horns".  The team had an incredible number of injuries and it translated to a disappointing 6-4 regular season.  Season ending knee injuries took out QB Bill Bradley and TE Derryl Comer plus a bunch of other key starters.

If Perkins is out for the Pokes game, I believe we are down to ~ 5 experienced OL (not including true frosh McMillion & Rodriguez).  I anticipate they will leave Doyle at C at put Raulerson in Perkins spot or elsewhere. Perhaps Wickline moves McFarland, Daniels or Swaim over to RT(not LT - QB blind spot) or as was posted others they just run lots of sets with 2 TE's and or Del La Torre lined up on the LOS?  T Harrison has said he is redshirting but if he did come back due to the urgent need of OL, he would probably be rusty?

Beyond this I have few ideas or suggestions, but the coaches are being paid the big $$$ to be prepared, make tough decisions and take action(s) in this kind of situation.

Hook 'Em!
