It seems like a majority of insiders on here and OB are in agreement in regards to Saban coming. I'm starting to get my hopes up...

SignUp Now!I'm not sold on himDoes anyone have any idea whom thegrammernazi on OB is? Any thought to his legitimacy? I get hopeful because the other insiders info doesn't really contradict his - but he seems to be the one with the most concrete of predictions/info etc and he's only been a member for 3 months so I'm curious.
I think the NFL coach is Carroll. His name has been mentioned quite frequently as someone wanting to get back into the game already and there was smoke about him last year. I don't see how he steps away from that job in Seattle, but you never know. And I don't know if I'd put Carroll ahead of Saban although I wouldn't be upset with either. Is TGN implying that we are sniffing an NFL coach (present or future) ahead of Saban? Sorry, it was tough to follow that last paragraph.
If so, who do y'all think it would be, ahead of Saban? Is it Harbaugh? Carroll? Those are the only two I would list above/with Saban and it's not by much.
Any NFL guys?Saban IS the front runner. I keep saying that if the Saban deal falls thru, the is going to be on or two candidates that step into the picture.
Assuming it's Harbaugh or Carroll, (beyond, "bc it's Texas") why would they leave what they have going in the NFL? I can understand Tomlin bc of aging team, etc. but I'm not seeing it with the other two...unless they miss the college game...that's my question.Saban IS the front runner. I keep saying that if the Saban deal falls thru, the is going to be on or two candidates that step into the picture.
Yes, I know the EM. I don't the grammarnazzi. He came onto the scene when me and EM took a hiatus. The Saban smoke is getting thick. The last post I saw from him utx didn't believe the Saban hype, but that was a week or two ago, and EM has gone silent.
McPhaul, do you know these guys? Are they hearing the same things now?
I don't know much about the grammarnazi, but I have to believe that the only coach that could possibly be put ahead of Saban would be Harbaugh. Surely we wouldn't put Pete Carrol in front of Saban?
Wow, that would not be bad as well. All the aggies are getting pissed because of this talk of Saban to Texas. They actually believe what he says at his press conference.Lovie Smith has also made contact with us.
