Looking at the Mountaineers' results:

Wins: Towson, At Maryland, Kansas, At Texas Tech, Baylor, At OkStU

Losses: Alabama, Oklahoma, TCU

Is WVU more than a team that has lost to the 3 best opponents they've played, and beaten the 5 weaker teams?

Good info. On one hand, they played Bama and TCU very well in losses. On the other hand, they really played down to their opponent in a win at Tech.

It'll be interesting to see if the emotions from the loss to TCU carries over to Saturday.

Texas has a chance to change the direction of the program this week... not to say that if they lose things aren't headed in the right direction, but a win would be a big boost. ..

If I was Texas I know what I would do.....

Strong is a good coach and I'm sure he doesn't need me to tell him what to do. I think WVU is the best 3 loss team in the country and a Top 25 team, and they've went far beyond what anyone thought. Most here was happy with 6-6, while most thought 4-8 or 5-7.

The verdict is still out on WVU in my opinion.  Good team with a quality win over Baylor.  If they beat KSU in a couple of weeks, Holgorsen will be sticking around Morgantown for a few more years.
