Strong on D'onta Foreman: "He's so physical at the point of attack. What people don't realize is his breakaway speed. He's top 3 in terms of speed on the team."
Strong: "What happened is we beat Baylor and went on the road and beat a good team. That has not happened for us yet. There will be obstacles. We have to continue overcoming them."
Strong on Michael Dickson: "He can flip the field. He's a weapon for us. I thought twice Saturday that he had out-kicked the coverage. I tell him all the time that he doesn't know how strong his leg is."
Strong on Kris Boyd: "Right now Kris is playing good football. All guys need to grow up and mature. That's what he's done a good job of. He'll make a mistake, but it doesn't bother him. He can forget the last play. He needs to remember some of them though."
Strong on practices: "You want to reward guys for their hard work. If they practice hard, they will play. You don't ever want guys to get comfortable."
Strong: "What's really helping us is who we are playing right now. We know how important these games are. We knew what the challenge would be [in Lubbock]. It's good to see how mentally focused we were."
Strong: "[West Virginia] is so far away they aren't talked about much. They are such a solid football team. They are overlooked because of where they sit."
Strong on John Bonney: "Bonney has all the physical tools that you need. It's more of a mental game to him. He studies the game hard, but when he gets to the game he locks up. He just needs to go play."
