Monday Press Conference Thread

Boyette on why this love hasn't translated to victories: "I don't know. We are as talented as any team in the Big 12."

Boyette: "There's no reason to hold anything back. We won't hold anything back. The page has to turn."

Boyette on if it's harder for seniors: "Most definitely. Our college experience has been up and down. You always want to ask what ifs. Everything happens for a reason. I wouldn't take away anything from the moments I spent here."

Boyette: "Playing football at this university is hard. It's always going to be. It's a blessing in disguise and I just have to take it that way."

Paul Boyette is done. Unbelievable words. Even as someone that's supposed to remain neutral, it's really hard sometimes. This is one of those times.

Cole on message to administration: "Take into consideration the players. We are the ones most affected by the coaching decisions. Look at what he's done to young men here. There's more than football than wins. It's about life."

Cole: "This whole season taught me how to deal with adversity. Football is the closest thing to real life that there is."

Cole on Twitter rumors: "I ride for coach Strong. I've been through this process. It's not easy or fun having to start over. We've grown so much with these coaches."

Cole: "From where I've started to where I am now is tremendous. My confidence is through the roof now. You can't ask for a better coach or a better man than coach Strong."

Cole: "The guy that comes next might not even treat the players like coach treats us. I don't want the players to go through the same things I had to go through."

Cole: "Media is going to do what they do. We have to stay focused and finish off on a good note."

Cole on why passion hasn't translated on the field: "It's all about finishing. It's about being consistent now."

Tim is done. That's it for the presser. What a tough situation handled extremely well by coach Strong and the players.
