Strong on D'onta Foreman: "It's a family decision about returning, but I will offer my advice when the time comes. You would love to see him get that invitation to New York."

Strong: "You can't walk in and feel like you are going to dominate that team. We haven't played well on the road, so we need to go in with the right frame of mind. We just need to challenge ourselves to play at our top potential."

Strong on Shane Buechele: "You have to have a quarterback. He's done a great job distributing the football. He's a silent leader. Everyone knows how important he is."

Strong on kicking: "The kick never took flight. We are not going to open it up, we only have 2 games left. Trent said himself he didn't hit it right." Well..... yeah the kicker is not good.

Strong on recruiting D'onta: "After having a conversation you knew D'onta was on a mission. They came and ran in the Texas relays and D'onta ran the anchor on the relay team. He has some speed. You like the overall attitude of both of them."

Strong: "D'onta is very humble. He respects everyone. The way has been paved for him and he has a chance to follow in other's footsteps. Seeing Earl congratulate him was really special."

Strong on Christmas-Giles: "When he gets out there he makes plays. We just always rotate guys in. When he's in, he's productive."

Strong: "There are 2-3 games we let get away from us."

Strong on calling defensive plays: "You have to get in a rhythm and get a feel for the game. You have to be able to mix it up. It's one of those games where you have to feel what the offense is doing and be disruptive."

Strong on team motivation: "They want to get to a bowl game. That's the motivating factor."

Strong on Collin Johnson: "He has outstanding size and speed. You can see his progression week by week. The more he plays, the better he gets."

Strong: "This deep in the season, you would like to see the play-calls become second nature to them."

Strong: "The accountability is there [on defense]. It's accountability with everyone, coaches involved."

Strong: "Sometimes I call the same defensive play 4 times in a row. If they don't adjust to stop it, I'm going to keep it coming."

Strong: "I think Malcolm Roach can be a star. He plays so hard and with so much energy. Give me Hager and Roach on each side and I know something good will happen."

Strong on kicking a FG before the half: "I wanted the points. Being down 4 at half is not a bad thing. If our kicker was not doing well, I would have gone for it." Wish Trent would have missed sooner, then.
