Even if Charlie stays I don't think this years recruiting will be very good overall.  Too much damage has been done.  I think there would be some transfers desired if he is fired, but I think there will be several anyway.  I would put Traylor in charge and promise him a place at UT next year- although it might not be as a coach.  I don't feel Gilbert is ready for a head coaching job.

He needs to go and go now. There is no downside from kicking him out right now.

It's hard to remove Strong now, because who do you use to replace him as interim? Nobody has head coaching experience. So, do you promote BJM? Jeff Traylor? Who knows. That is where the higher ups are stuck. They do not have a replacement option right now.

Coaches didn't do their homework. Charlie has been trying to fill in for poor hires for so long that he reached a tipping point. And, he looks bad. I want him to find a good spot because I think he's a good guy.

It was so obvious that we weren't prepared.

This is truly an unbelievable quote.  How in the @#$% can a UT team not prepare for a KSU running QB.  Good gracious me, when have the NOT had a big tall, bumbling running QB (that typically ran all over us). 

I'm just, wow........... I know its been said in several threads here on the board, but I'm saddened by how utterly unprepared UT is for their opponents.  These coaches weren't that bad at their previous schools, were they?
