haha, yeah historical indeed. the big 12 standing the past few years have been backwards too. I for 1 definitely envy the BU HC and Aggie HC, both are better, maybe way better, than what we have currently.

I don't envy aggy because Sumlin is fools gold. If he stays and Manziel goes they are going to be bad next year.

Sumlin could be fools gold, but his history at UH and Aggies so far is very good. Also, his time as Ou OC was good.

His past 4 years are much better than our past 4 years.

And he inherited Keenum at UH. My problem with Sumlin is that he's never won at a program where he's had to recruit his own players. He took over from Briles who had built up Houston and then took over for Sherman who didn't leave a bare cupboard.

When looking for a new coach one of the biggest things I am looking for is someone who has been able to win with their players. Saban, Jimbo Fisher, Urban Meyer and Art Briles are all guys who have been able to build programs and have had success with their own players. Sumlin hasn't done that yet.
